people experience symptoms depression at one or more
times in their lives. Depression can be very mild or

or you sleep more than usual, and (13) you feel physically
unwell even though you have no reason to. People who
are suffering from depression will have one or more
of the above symptoms. Depression can strike anyone
at any time. It’s important to ask for help when
you suspect that you’re feeling some degree of
depression so that you can get the help that you need
to lift yourself out of this depression.
There are many different methods of treatment for all
degrees of depression. One of the first things that
a doctor will do is to determine whether or not you
will benefit from medication. Not all patients will
respond to medication treatments for their depression.
Many people live with chronic symptoms of depression
for many years and learn skills and techniques for coping
with feelings of depression. Different forms of therapy
are also very helpful in coping with depression and
can bring some relief from loneliness. The important
